That is why you get a on our hosting packages 30 day money back guaranteeThis way, you can try out our hosting at your leisure and assess whether the package suits your website, webshop, or email usage. This guarantee applies exclusively to the hosting package. Costs related to a domain name, such as registration, transfer, renewal, or recovery, are not covered.
Domain names are processed via external registries and registrars. Therefore, these costs cannot be reversed or refunded. Did you take advantage of a promotional price for a domain name? Then this discount expires when the hosting package is cancelled. In that case, the regular rate will be charged for the domain name, as the promotion is only valid in combination with a hosting package.
What does the 30-day warranty apply to?
The money-back guarantee applies to newly purchased hosting services from Flexahosting, unless explicitly stated otherwise for the product or promotion. If you request cancellation within 30 days of activation, we will refund the hosting amount for the portion covered by this guarantee.
The arrangement is intended to give you the opportunity to test our hosting in practice. Consider performance, ease of use, the management environment, and suitability for your website. The guarantee is intended as extra security, not as a free usage period for temporary projects or improper use.
What is not covered by the money-back guarantee?
The following costs and services are not covered by the 30-day money-back guarantee:
- domain name registrations
- domain transfers
- domain renewals
- premium domains or special extensions
- SSL certificates, licenses and additional services
- custom solutions and third-party services
- costs that have already been definitively charged to the registry, registrar, or external supplier
For domain names, it applies that these always be charged, even if you cancel the hosting package within the warranty period.
What about promotions and free domain names?
If you sign up for a promotion where you order hosting with a free domain name or a domain name at a promotional rate, that domain name will not remain free of charge if you cancel the hosting package afterwards.
In the event of cancellation of the hosting package within the warranty period, the regular, full domain rate calculated and settled.
When can you request a refund?
You can submit a request within 30 days after activation of your hosting package. After that period, Flexahosting's contractual money-back guarantee expires.
The request must be made by the contract holder or an authorized contact person for the account. To properly process a request, we may ask for your customer details, invoice number, domain name, and a brief reason for cancellation.
Important to know before you cancel
When a hosting package is terminated, access to files, databases, email, and backups may stop. Therefore, always make a copy of your data yourself before requesting a cancellation.
If a domain name remains registered in your name upon cancellation, you remain the owner of that domain name for the duration of the registration period. The hosting part may then terminate, while the domain name continues separately until the end of the paid term, unless otherwise agreed.
Statutory cooling-off period and this warranty
In principle, consumers in the Netherlands are subject to a statutory cooling-off period of 14 days for online purchases. This page also covers our additional commercial 30-day money-back guarantee on hosting. Where the law grants mandatory consumer rights, those rights always take precedence.

After reviewing your request, we will let you know the amount to be refunded and which, if any, domain or additional costs will remain charged.
